Occupational Therapy enables people who are experiencing difficulties with activities of daily living as the result of an illness or accident, to regain independence and control of their lives again. Unity Occupational Therapy provides assessment and rehabilitation services to clients with Neurological conditions throughout the North West, working in their homes, work and community settings.

Testimonies

"Following a stroke at the age of 38, Sarah became my Occupational Therapist in 2013. I instantly found her warm and friendly and began to look forward to my sessions with her rather than dreading them!  Sarah helps me to approach tasks and decisions with a fresh outlook and she has enabled me to build up my confidence again which has been noticeable to others including my work.

Sarah is both professional and caring and I cannot recommend her highly enough."

"I represented a client with a severe brain injury, and Sarah Butterworth was his Occupational Therapist. Through attending MDT meetings and reviewing Sarah’s notes, I saw that Sarah not only understood the process of rehabilitation, but more than that - the principle of rehabilitation underscored everything she did for my client. Sarah’s understanding of my client was incredible, and the interventions she recommended were bespoke to his particular needs. Everything she did was based on a goal centred approach, and it was a real delight to see the progress my client made as a result. In addition, Sarah’s record keeping was accurate, detailed and helpful, and was referred to throughout the litigation and was of invaluable assistance to the legal team, the medical experts and the court"
